Simile: compares 2 things using the words "like" or "as"

Personification: gives human characteristics to inanimate objects, animals or idea.

Hyperbole: exageration used for emphasis or efect.

Idiom: it is a group of words thet can't be understood merely by knowing the individual meaning of its elements. It is an expression that can't be taken literaly.
